Casa Calamondino seemed like home. Ruggiero's warmth and thoughtful gestures, from the beautifully decorated room to a delicious breakfast that showcased local flavors.

Be prepared for some noise during festivals. It can disrupt sleep. Although central, the vibrant atmosphere comes with its challenges, especially if you're not accustomed to late-night festivities.

The fried oysters at Antica Osteria were a revelation, bursting with flavor! Ruggiero, and the breakfast was made with so much love, you could taste it.

Not everything was perfect, but it all still shined brightly. Even with one mishap, Casa Calamondino holds top spots in my memory from our travels.

Steep stairs.

The staircase to the Beautiful Room is an absolute nightmare, and I couldn't believe there was no complimentary gesture for the trouble, such as an upgrade, considering how much I paid. The owner rudely yelled at us about a window latch, claiming it's made in Germany, but seemingly forgot he was running a B&B and not a museum.

Ask for Ruggiero's local dining recommendations. They're spot-on and add a authentic touch to your stay.
